Boulder Lake Lodge is located on the Bridger Wilderness in the Bridger Teton National Forest. Wilderness areas do not allow any motorized or mechanized vehicles or equipment but with 600 miles of trails this is a horsepack and hiking paradise just like Jim Bridger, the famous mountain man, encountered in 1830. The Contential Divide Trail traverses the Wind River Mountains with wildlife, glacial lakes, and towering spires. The trail network allows many loop opportunities to access pristine alpine fishing lakes. Moose, elk, mule deer, bald eagles, black bear sightings are common with grizzly bears and wolf more rare but as part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem this area offers the best of Yellowstone without the crowds. A stunning horsback ride in the incredible mountains of this remote high elevation wilderness area takes you an elevation of nearly 10,000' with the horses and mules doing the heavy work allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery. Guided Pack trips customized to your desires!
Destinations Include: Titcomb Basin, Island Lake, Europe Canyon, Halls Lake, Lake Victor, Green River, Dream Lake, Cirque of the Towers, and many more customized for your interests all along the Great Divide! We can either start or end your trip at Boulder Creek, Elkhart Park, New Fork Lake, Big Sandy or Green River Lakes trailheads.
