Boulder Lake Lodge was established in 1956 on the sight of an early 1900's homesteaded ranch. The Lodge sits in a protected valley with lush aspen and pine forests surrounding. A graded county road ends at the Lodge for the ultimate in a private get a way. The Lodge is your headquarters to explore the 800,000 acres of the Wind River Mountain Range of the Bridger Teton National Forest and Wilderness. Lakes and streams nearby are teeming with fish and are very readily caught. Horses are a focus of this authentic Western Ranch. The lodge and managment owns all its own livestock, 60 some horses and mules- all gentle and experienced on the mountain trails. No outside leased horses for your safety and enjoyment.
